A Message from the Executive Director

At this time of year, I ask those closest to me to create their holiday gift wish lists. Some need a little coaching while others are quick to come up a robust list. The older I get, the shorter my list gets as I am reminded of the things that are most precious in life. 

The opportunity to serve in this role is a gift. It affords me the opportunity to interact daily with dedicated educators and amazing students who through curiosity and exploration are each carving their individual paths toward the future. It provides me with the ability to work alongside individuals who value the work of this Foundation and step up to provide leadership, guidance and counsel to ensure that our work continues – grounded in best practices and done with integrity. And perhaps most importantly it provides me with the opportunity to engage with a community that so highly values its public schools. 

Thank you for your wonderful support of our Foundation over the past year. I wish you the gifts of good health, more time spent with friends and loved ones to make special memories, and moments of peace and relaxation during this holiday season and in the New Year.

Gifts for calendar year 2024, including recurring gifts, can be made online up until midnight on December 31 or sent by mail, but they must be postmarked by December 31, 2024.
