We are excited to announce that the Bexley Education Foundation will host a virtual “gratitude event” this spring to thank and recognize school community members who put Bexley students at the heart of their efforts over the past pandemic year.
TOGETHER in Gratitude, an on-line event, will premiere on FaceBook and YouTube on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 7pm. Hosted by Bexley alumna and WBNS 10TV Reporter, Molly Brewer, the program will shine a spotlight on the many ways that our school community has come together to keep students connected, engaged, cared for and safe through hard work, creativity, innovation and outreach. The program will also recognize the 2021 Glick Family Bexley Educator of the Year.
All community members are invited to participate in the event by sending a short video and/or “thank you note” to a special Bexley teacher or staff member. Videos (no longer than 20 seconds) that express gratitude can be sent directly to jennifer.mcghee@bexley.us and written messages of gratitude can be made online by going to tinyurl.com/staff-tribute. All videos and written messages received by April 1 to be included in the event program.
There is no cost to view or participate in the virtual event, however, sponsorship opportunities for TOGETHER in Gratitude are available and provide various levels of recognition. Sponsorships range from the $100 Family Sponsor Level to the $1,000 Event Underwriter level. Every sponsorship level includes the ability to be listed on the thank you card that will be placed in each of 300 gratitude gift bags to be distributed to Bexley City Schools staff.
Sponsorship information is available by going to tinyurl.com/gratitude-sponsorship or by contacting Pam Glasgow, BEF Executive Director at pamela.glasgow@bexley.us. Anyone who would like more information about the virtual event, including how to donate items to the staff gift bags, should call the BEF Office at (614) 338-2093.
