A Celebration of the Arts

Join us for a Celebration of the Arts as we recognize the 15 year anniversary of the Schottenstein Theatre’s dedication and the completion of the BEF’s Campaign for the Performing Arts. We will formally recognize the recipient of the Robert Glick Bexley Educator of the Year Award and announce recipient of the 2019 Linda Kass Excellence in Education Award.
Special student performances by:

– A performance by Cassingham first graders accompanied by BHS alumni Lucas Fox on piano and Sophie Petrov on cello

Educator of the Year nominations due

Sponsored by the BEF and funded by the Glick Family Endowment for the BEF at the Columbus Jewish Foundation, the Bexley Educator of the Year award is given each year to to a Bexley educator who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to students in the Bexley City Schools. Anyone can nominate a recipient, who will be selected by a committee that includes community members, BEF board members, and representatives of community institutions. A $1,000 cash award is presented at the annual Education Appreciation Banquet on April 26.
