The Bexley City Schools and Bexley Education Foundation are partnering to present the State of the Schools on Wednesday, February 26. Come early to the Cassingham Complex and stay for the program which will begin in Bexley High School’s Schottenstein Theatre at 6:45pm.
There will be displays and activities that highlight the impact that BEF makes in the Bexley Schools starting at 5:45pm. Bexleo students are planning for a “photo booth” in the main lobby of the complex using cameras, lenses and lighting funded by BEF grants. The lobby of the Schottenstein Theatre features student artwork created during the recent residency of alumni artist Alex Haldi. The residency was funded by the BEF’s Bob Darwin Memorial Endowment for the Arts.
Student groups and displays that highlight the BEF’s investment in technology, sustainability and learning environments will be featured in the Cassingham Café. A Middle School Flex-Time Fair will be held in the Cassingham/Middle School Library, an environment transformed with moveable walls, new tables and chairs and internet enabled televisions funded by BEF grants and grants made to BEF from the Eight Keys Foundation.
BEF will present both the 2020 Glick Family Bexley Educator of the Year Award and the Linda Kass Excellence in Education Award during the program as well as debut a new video. Register here to attend.
