Thanks to a Foundation grant, all AP BHS World Language students as well as those in levels 4 and 5, and native speakers will be taking the STAMP test on April 25th in order to have the opportunity to earn the Seal of Biliteracy. This will be the first time that students who speak another language at home that is not offered at Bexley High School will be able to take the test in their native language. In Ohio, a Seal of Biliteracy recognizes graduating seniors who can demonstrate high levels of proficiency in English and at least one other language.
“This is an incredible opportunity for all of these students to showcase being bilingual (some even trilingual!).Languages are so important and should be celebrated and we are so excited to recognize the students who earn the Seal later this spring,” said Lauren Robbins, Spanish Teacher/World Language Department Chair
