Your gift to the Bexley Education Foundation (BEF) at year-end can make all the difference in our ability to provide more learning opportunities for Bexley students and more resources for Bexley teachers.
Since the start of this school year, BEF has awarded over 20 teacher mini-grants totaling $10,000. Teachers across the district have received a variety of materials to support instruction like “morning tubs” filled with STEAM activities, a collection of graphic novels, and Osmos Genius Kits for iPads. Recent classroom grants, totaling over $30,000, supported the all-district Bexley Institute professional development day, and will fund an upcoming comic book artist-in-residence, a shoe design project for fourth graders, a pilot program for music therapy as an intervention strategy and the purchase of iPads for the use of students in World Language classes at Bexley Middle School.
None of these grants would be possible without the generosity of individuals like you who help to elevate the educational experience for Bexley students of all ages. Please consider making a gift today to the BEF’s Annual Fund for Excellence by going online to bexleyeducationfoundation.org. The BEF can also facilitate gifts of appreciated stock. For more information about making a year-end gift, please call BEF Executive Director, Pam Glasgow at (614) 338-2093.
