The life and the indomitable spirit of BHS Class of 2019 graduate Eli Weinstock will be honored through a scholarship endowment recently established at the Bexley Education Foundation. The endowment has been funded by hundreds of gifts, now totaling over $105,000, made in Eli’s memory. The names of all donors to the fund will be listed in the BEF’s fall 2021 Impact Report.
The two inaugural Eli Weinstock Memorial Scholarships for post-high school studies of $2,500 each will be awarded on May 24, 2021 at the Bexley High School Senior Recognition Assembly. The recipients will have met the scholarship criteria which includes exhibiting genuine kindness, concern, compassion and empathy for others, contributing to the Bexley Schools community through friendships and connections across diverse groups of students, and showing resilience in the face of adversity.
