The Bexley Education Foundation is looking toward the future this year at BRAVO!, the Foundation’s major annual fundraising event. Funds raised at BRAVO! support programs and projects that enrich the educational experience for students in the Bexley City Schools.
BRAVO! Committee Chair, Leslie McBride, is excited that BRAVO! has some new features for guests to enjoy while eating, drinking, shopping and socializing with friends and neighbors. New this year is a special drink tasting area. By purchasing a $10 tasting ticket, guests can enjoy samples from Middle West Spirits, House Wine and Actual Brewing.
Guests can browse BRAVO! auction items online and begin planning their evening of “shopping” on April 6, when online bidding opens. Mobile bidding provides school supporters a convenient way to participate in BRAVO! if they are unable to attend the event.
As always, BRAVO! will feature a silent auction and a children’s art auction. Items up for bid include spa packages, sporting events and tickets, babysitting services and date-nights out. Students in Bexley elementary schools are hard at work finishing their art pieces, which will be displayed in each elementary school prior to the event.
Local restaurants participating include The Berwick, Little Monsters Bakery, Johnson’s Real Ice Cream, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Giant Eagle Market District, Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, Bexley Pizza Plus, Merry Milk Maid, G. Michael’s Bistro, The Mad Greek and Rusty Bucket Bexley. New participants to BRAVO! are Asempe Kitchen and Piada.
BRAVO! tickets are $60 each until April 6, when online bidding opens. The ticket price is $75 after April 6 and at the door. Sponsorships are still available online, starting at $300.
