You can see it every day in the Bexley Schools – the potential of all students as they engage with teachers and classmates in their learning environments. Supporting Bexley students and their potential is at the heart of the BEF’s mission.
One of the best ways to invest in the potential of Bexley students is by supporting the BEF’s Annual Fund for Excellence. Contributions to the Annual Fund for Excellence directly benefit Bexley students, teachers and schools by funding innovative projects and creative programs that are outside of the scope of what public dollars can provide.
Teachers across the School District loved the new BEF mini-grants program that was initiated last year. They were able to purchase hands-on learning activities, create incentive programs, enhance classroom libraries and bring guest speakers into classrooms. Thanks to BEF classroom grants last year, students had greater access to technology (via iPads and laptops). BEF grants also supported enhancements to learning environments and social-emotional learning initiatives.
If you are already a donor to BEF’s Annual Fund for Excellence, THANK YOU! If not, please consider donating this fall. Here’s some information:
Who contributes? Gifts made to the Annual Fund are made by current parents, parents of alumni, alumni, Bexley teachers and staff and community members.
How much? Gift amounts range from $10 to $1,000 or more. Every gift is important because all Annual Fund gifts fuel the BEF’s grants-making budget. We encourage participation at any amount that feels comfortable.
How do I contribute? Supporting the Annual Fund for Excellence is easy. Gifts can be made by mail, over the phone, in person or online. Recurring/monthly gifts of $10 (or more) can be made as an electronic funds transfer from a checking, savings account or credit card and are easy to set up online.
