BRAVO! goes to Bexley and beyond

BRAVO! 2018 blasted off at the Walter’s Commons Area at St. Charles on Saturday, April 14 with 500 guests and 298 silent auction items including 48 children’s art creations. When the smoke cleared from the landing over $120,000 had been raised for the Bexley Education Foundation with over $74,000 in sponsorship support and a new silent auction record of $48,500.

Guests at BRAVO! were treated to fabulous food, sampling fare from thirteen local restaurants and caterers, including favorites G. Michaels and Cameron Mitchell’s and new additions Brassica and Piada. New this year was a drink tasting area hosted by Middle West Spirits, House Wine and Actual Brewing.

The evening ending with great dance music from the Big Rockin’ Blues Band. The band includes current and past Bexley parents, Mike Weinstock, Steve Shapiro and Dennis Hirsch.

BRAVO! Chair, Leslie McBride, who along with her committee members, Jennifer Avoli, Melissa Bedolla, Abby Braun, Cathy Cory, Sponsor Chair, Laura Daugherty, Tricia Gockstetter, Lindsay Goodman, Kelsy Harr, Heather Kabler, Martha McKitrick, Marissa Nelson, Lauren Rubin and Jessica Saad worked for months to ensure that the event was successful on all levels.
