BRAVO! is going paperless! Silent auction shoppers at BEF’s annual BRAVO! fundraiser in March will have a new way to bid: on their cell phones. Mobile bidding will streamline the auction process and make it more fun. Partygoers who register their credit card either before or at the event will be able to set automatic, maximum bids for items, check their phones to see if they’ve been outbid, and see items that have no bids – all while continuing to enjoy the food, fun and friendly conversation that are always a big part of BRAVO!
Online bidding in advance of the event will also be available, allowing guests to preview auction items in advance as well as providing the opportunity for those unable to attend to bid on items. BRAVO! will feature, as always, tempting tasting stations from local restaurants, a children’s art auction along with the more traditional silent auction, and a cash bar.
The BRAVO! planning committee has been meeting this fall to firm up plans for the event, which will be held on Saturday, March 4 from 7-11 p.m. at St. Charles Preparatory School.
