BRAVO! bidding goes high tech

For the first time ever, bidding for BRAVO! silent auction items, including the artwork created by Bexley students, will be conducted online. Go online now to view such auction items as the birdhouse created by Ms. White’s Kindergarten Class at Montrose, a year’s worth of Donato’s Pizza, a JCC membership, a Bexley street sign, or a fall week on Martha’s Vineyard. The bidding will open on February 27, one week before the event!

At BRAVO!, you can continue bidding using your cell phone or mobile device. For those unable to attend, you can bid remotely after you have registered as a bidder online. All bidders will be able to set maximum bids and receive text notifications or emails when you have been outbid. More information on mobile bidding is available here.

The BEF’s signature fundraising event, which this year honors the 100th anniversary of Bexley City Schools, will be held on Saturday, March 4 from 7 to 11 p.m. at St. Charles Preparatory School. Tickets for BRAVO! are $50 until February 27 or $75 at the door and can be purchased online. Tickets for the Mystery Boxes raffle ($10 each or 6 for $50) are available for purchase online as well. There will be 20 Mystery Box prize winners with one lucky winner receiving a $200 gift certificate to The Top Steakhouse.

The BRAVO! Silent Auction features a wide range of goods and services including tickets to sporting events, artworks, salon services, family fun, jewelry, and get-a-ways. Online bidding, from a cell phone or computer, provides the ability for those who have a desire to competitively bid on a particular piece of student art to do so.

Local restaurants participating include Kittie’s Cakes, Little Monsters Bakery, Giant Eagle Market District,The Top, Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, G. Michael’s Bistro, Katzingers, The Mad Greek, Rusty Bucket Bexley,  and more. Come hungry! There will be a cash bar, including a signature cocktail, the Celebration Sour, from Middle West Spirits.
