Bexley Alumni Association welcomes Class of 2017

Life-size Jenga, human hamster balls, corn hole, a photo station with props and free lunch from two food trucks were on the agenda when the Bexley High School Alumni Association (which was merged under the umbrella of BEF in 2015) hosted the first-ever Senior Celebration Day for the Class of 2017. The event was held on the high school’s Carlton Smith Field following the senior awards assembly.

“It’s a fun way to complete their journey together as a class,” said BEF Board Chair Megan Walker, a Bexley alum. “And we get to celebrate their accomplishments and welcome them into the alumni association as the newest members!”

After the field day activities were complete, the senior class posed for a photo in their new Bexley Alumni tee shirts, a gift from the alumni association, as well as for small group photos wearing shirts representing their college or other post-secondary plans.

“We are proud of our seniors, and hope they will keep in touch wherever they may go in the future!” said BEF Executive Director Pam Glasgow.
