The first of two "book talks" will take place in October as part of The Bexley Education Foundation's year-long community read initiative, Bexley Community Book Club. In keeping with its intent to involve the community on a grass roots level through a host of ancillary events, Bexley Community Book Club is partnering with the Bexley Public Library who will host the book talk in its auditorium on Sunday, October 14 at 3:00 p.m. This first event features Kacey Kowars, host of a popular Internet book show. August 27, 2007 - Bexley Education Foundation Launches Community "Book Club" Initiative in Conjunction with 25th Anniversary

The Bexley Education Foundation (BEF), the first public school foundation in Central Ohio, is launching a unique model for a community-based author initiative to encourage reading, in conjunction with its 25th anniversary.

Designed to involve the community on a grass roots level through a host of year-long ancillary events culminating in the author's visit to the community on April 30, 2008, this new initiative has been aptly named Bexley Community Book Club.
