The heart and soul of The Bexley Education Foundation lies in its grant giving capabilities. The BEF was founded on the premise that the quest for excellence sometimes requires programs for which public funds are either not available or cannot be spent. The main source of revenue for grants is the Annual Fund.

The 2007-2008 Annual Fund Campaign with a goal of $140,000 is underway now. More than 8,000 alumni, friends, faculty, and parents will receive letters encouraging support from Annual Fund ChairJon Meyer, BHS '86 and Annual Fund Co-Chair Craig Halliday, BHS '85. Both Jon and Craig are members of the Foundation's Board of Governors and have served on numerous committees. They know the importance of the Grants Program and the Foundation's mission to continue to make programs of excellence possible through private funding so that the quality of education we have come to expect from the Bexley schools continues.
